Experienced parent navigating the Massachusetts Adult Special Needs System for years. Lydia educates families on the financial benefits, supports, and services available to their loved one. She provides strategies to maximize these financial benefits such as SSI / SSDI, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), MassHealth Premium Assistance, DDS flexible funding and college funding. She provides guidance to access the supports and services that focus on all facets of adult life including employment, housing, healthcare, community life, recreation, post-secondary education, financial planning and more!

Lydia completed three days of extensive training in both 2024 and 2025 with Work Without Limits covering SSI, SSDI, public health insurance, and other public benefits. 
She also completed six hours of training with the Institute for Community Inclusion in 2026 - "Combining Work and Benefits - Massachusetts".

Virtual or in-person sessions including a summary of topics discussed, an action list and resources. Many families work with Lydia on an ongoing basis as they address the many important milestones of transitioning from Special Education Services into the Adult Special Needs System and beyond.

Workshops & Trainings

​Lydia conducts annual half-day workshops for
the Massachusetts Family Leadership Series and has completed three to date, with another scheduled this Spring.

Lydia regularly leads workshops for
the Riverside Family Support Center and has an upcoming session scheduled.


Lydia recently lead a workshop for the Charles River Center.

Speaking Engagements

Lydia presented at the 2022 Arc of MA Transition Forum in Concord, MA.

Lydia regularly speaks at the Perkins Transition Center's Symposiums,
serving as the keynote speaker in May 2024 and returning to present again in 2025.

She served as a co-presenter for a Women's Money Matters program in 2025
and presented at the Andover Rotary Club in 2026.
